I like making things.
Always a batch curing somewhere
There is almost always a batch curing on the rack. Cutting it, labeling it, waiting the weeks out while it hardens into something usable.
Some batches come out clean and even. Some come out lopsided or crumbly, and I use those myself.
Mending more than starting fresh
Most projects start with a pile of scraps and no real plan. A ribbon gets pulled out, a hem gets fixed, a piece gets kept because it might be useful later.
Plenty of it sits half-finished, and that is fine for now.
Whatever's blooming that week
A few stems from the garden or a bucket from the grocery store end up on the table, and I start arranging without much of a plan.
They always end up somewhere, on a shelf here or in someone else's hands.
Things I've caught myself thinking while the glue is drying
Half-baked ideas that stuck around
Most of what ends up here started as an idea I wasn't sure about. Some of it goes nowhere. Some of it turns into the thing I like best, and I never would have planned it that way.
